• Ask questions about past and present symptoms, injuries and illnesses, family health history, diet, emotional wellbeing, work and lifestyle habits.
• Observe skin tone, eyes, hair and other physical conditions.
• Examine the tongue.
• Take several pulse rates. Each consultation and treatment is unique to the individual.

In order to assure that you are fully benefiting from your prescribed treatment, you will be periodically reassessed. The frequency of reassessments will be made at the discretion of individual practitioners. Whereas traditional acupuncture can sometimes cause minor pain and soreness, Abdominal Acupuncture provides a more relaxing and comfortable experience.
